KENNYWOOD GHOSTWOOD ESTATES DARK RIDE

Halloween Productions, Inc. recently completed a 2 million dollar dark ride project for Kennywood Amusement Park. The new dark ride called GhostWood Estates, is an interactive dark ride, themed after a haunted mansion, with a targeting system, and wireless ride system provided by ETF Systems.



The dark ride includes 10 highly detailed scenes, 10 CGI Ghost effects, over 250 interactive targets, special effects, tons of animations, pre-show, and a massive haunted mansion facade.



The ride is fun for kids and adults a like, and blends the theming and fun of Disney's Haunted Mansion with a targeting game were riders shoot targets to active animations and score points. Four riders board a wireless ride system, and compete against each other, and the rider with the most points wins.



There is so much detail inside the attraction riders must ride this attraction several times to take it all in from a talking severed head, which tells jokes, to several ghosts that come to life using computer generated effects.
